I’m looking forward to seeing you this Sunday, January 9, as we resume our normal Sunday schedule of worship, Bible study classes, and Next-Gen programming.
Scripture makes clear that we need to be together for in-person, face-to-face fellowship and encouragement in the body of Christ (cf. Hebrews 10:24-25).
So, as the New Year begins, renew your commitment to every-week worship and small group participation!
Guidelines for Good Health at Church
We are aware of the uptick of Covid cases, flu, and other winter illnesses across our region. So, here are some guidelines to remember:
- First, if you are ill, please stay home from church until you are recovered. Others will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
- Second, stay well informed about the various public health guidelines, talk with your own doctor, and take full responsibility for your own health decisions – vaccinations, boosters, face coverings, etc.
- Third, if it is not wise for you to be at church in-person, please participate by livestream at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. It’s not as good as being here, but it’s better than nothing!
Of course, I’m praying that the Lord will protect us all from serious illness and harm. And we will continue to care for and minister to all who are sick and suffering during this season. So, if you have a need we can help meet, please let us know by calling the church office at 478.477.7251.
Membership & Missions Classes – January 9
I hope that you will take the next step of commitment by joining our church or by preparing to go on a mission trip.
Both classes are this Sunday, January 9, at 4:00 p.m. No reservations are necessary. Dress is casual. Dinner and childcare are provided. Just come in the east entrance to the Worship Center, and a warm welcome will be waiting.
As this New Year begins, I’m grateful to be part of a healthy multi-generational church committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.
And, as you know, I am convinced that the best is yet to come!
Your Pastor and Friend,
