Wednesdays at Ingleside

How long has it been since you have checked out Ingleside on a Wednesday night?  Hundreds of people typically gather at Ingleside in the middle of the week for food, fellowship, study, training, and service.  The gatherings are typically segmented by age, life stage, or ministry focus.

For example, just a couple of Wednesday nights ago (August 20), 275 folks joined in the fellowship meal.  Then, 73 adults gathered in the Chapel for praise, prayer, a missions focus, and our verse-by-verse Bible teaching, while 117 other adults were in a variety of smaller groups and studies.  At the same time, 325 preschoolers, children, middle schoolers, high school students and their leaders were in groups all across our campus.  Meanwhile, 146 members of our worship arts teams (choirs, band, orchestra, and production team) were training and rehearsing in preparation for leading on Sundays.

As you can tell from this description, Wednesday nights are typically full of life at Ingleside.  I hope you will join us soon!

Some time ago, however, we asked:  wouldn’t it strengthen the sense of community at Ingleside even more if from time to time we encouraged all ages and life stages to come together for worship and fellowship?  The answer was, “Yes!”

So, this Wednesday, September 3, we are encouraging everyone—all ages and life stages—to gather for worship at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center followed by an ice cream social in the Gathering Area and on the Gathering Area Plaza.

Who?              Every age and life stage!

(Birth through age 4 in nursery during worship; with their parents for the social)

When?             Wednesday, September 3, at 6:30 p.m.

Where?            Worship Center and Gathering Area

What?             Worship, Lord’s Supper, Baptism, Missions Commissioning, Overseer Recognition, and Ice Cream Social

If you call Ingleside home, you will not want to miss this “Big Wednesday” celebration.  I look forward to seeing you this Wednesday night, September 3!
