See you Sunday?

I’m looking forward to being back in worship with our church family this Sunday, August 23, and I hope to see you in worship too!

Either be part of one of our in-person services at 9:00 or 11:00 in the Worship Center (you may make your reservation here), or join us for the livestream (on our website, Facebook, or YouTube).

Now that summer rhythms are giving way to school schedules, make sure and put Sunday worship back into your weekly routine.

God is honored and we benefit when we gather with other believers to worship (cf. Hebrews 10:24-25).  I hope to see you Sunday!

Three more items.  We have learned that people are often “down on” what they are not “up on.”  So, this week we want you to be “up on” three more important items this week.

  • First, care for preschoolers (6 weeks – 4K) returns this Sunday, August 23, at both the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services. Space will be limited and is by reservation only. You may read more details about what to expect and how to register your preschooler here.
  • Second, we are hosting an Open House for our newly renovated High School Ministry facility (called “Across the Street,” or “ATS”) this Sunday, August 23, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. The purpose will be to provide brief tours, answer questions, and facilitate prayer and blessing over the space and ministry. Reservations are necessary, and households will remain socially distanced. You may sign up for a tour and prayer time here.
  • Third, our Semi-Annual Church Conference will be on Wednesday night, August 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel. We will elect new Overseers and Deacons, vote on the proposed 2021 Ministry Budget, hear ministry updates, and have a Q&A time with the Lead Pastor.

I’m grateful for you, I rejoice in our partnership in the gospel, and I remain convinced that the best is yet to come!
