Save the Dates

Save the date!

As I look across the month of April, here are a few dates I hope you will put on your calendar now.

  • A Night of Contemporary Worship, Thursday, April 21.  Invite a friend and join us for “No Other Name: A Night of Contemporary Worship,” led musically by Clay Scott, our Contemporary Worship Arts Pastor. Worship will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Gym, with games, snacks, and fellowship to follow in the Gathering Area. While you are there, have a cup of coffee with our Young Adult Pastor, Blake Jenkins. If guitar-driven, band-led contemporary worship is your “musical heart language,” don’t miss this evening of worship.
  • Macon Impact, Saturday, April 23 – Saturday, April 30.  Macon Impact this year is a weeklong opportunity for our church family to share the love of Christ with our community through a variety of hands-on service projects and witness opportunities. You’ll see all of the ways to be involved by going to our website and signing up to be part of this significant time of service and outreach.  Find an activity that is a fit for you!
  • Membership and Missions Classes. On Sunday, April 17, our regular monthly membership and missions classes will occur at 4:00 p.m.  In addition, this month only, we will also offer Wednesday night membership and missions orientation classes beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 13 and 20. Dress is casual.  No reservation is required, and childcare is provided. For more information, contact Hannah in our Membership Office at hmcgehee@ingleside.org or 477-7251. I hope to see you there!

Easter Gratitude

I know you will want to join me in giving thanks for a great celebration of our Risen Savior this past weekend.  Multitudes of people gathered on our campus for the Easter Family Fun Day (more than 900 volunteers and participants) and in one of five worship services (more than 4,200 in all services).  Many responded to the gospel in repentance and faith, and others made commitments to be baptized. I hope you will pray the Father’s favor as follow-up conversations occur.

Sincere thanks to all who served and to all who invited a friend.  We give all the glory to God for his great favor on Easter at Ingleside 2016.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday for Bible study and worship.  I am confident that the best is yet to come!

Your Pastor and Friend,
