One Worship Service this Sunday

On this Sunday before Christmas, December 21, there will be one worship service only at 10:30 a.m. at Ingleside.  Childcare is provided for birth thru age four.  Since there is no age-group programming, ages five and above are welcome in the Worship Center.  Bring your friends and family, and worship at Ingleside this Sunday as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ!

Is Your Heart Hurting This Christmas?

Though the holiday season can be filled with great joy and blessing, for those who have lost loved ones it can be an especially difficult and painful time of year.

So, this Sunday afternoon, December 21, at 4:00 p.m. in our Chapel, we have planned a “Christmas Remembrance and Celebration” service.  This gathering is designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and hope to those who are grieving during the holidays.  I am confident that if you will make your way to this service, you will sense the nearness of God’s presence and his power to bring healing to your hurting heart.

Christmas Eve Services

The tradition of worshiping at Ingleside on Christmas Eve is growing!  So, again this year, we are planning three services—two “family” services and one “candlelight communion” service.

3:30 – 4:15 p.m.         Family Service with live nativity

5:00 – 5:45 p.m.         Family Service with live nativity

7:30 – 8:30 p.m.         Candlelight Communion Service

All three services will have great music, an encouraging message, and worship by candlelight.  I hope to see you at Ingleside on Christmas Eve!

  “Angels of Christmas” Reflections

This past weekend more people than ever before gathered for our Christmas musical presentations to celebrate the birth of Jesus – more than 5,400 participants in four services!

I am very grateful for all – volunteers and staff – who served joyfully, sacrificially, and with excellence the entire weekend.  Special thanks to Jonathan Green, our Worship Arts Pastor, and our entire Worship Arts Team for a job well done.  God was greatly glorified!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!  It is a joy and privilege to be your pastor and friend.
