Marriage Conference – September 23
How would you describe your marriage?
I am keenly aware that many marriages are under pressure, some are fraying around the edges, and others are beginning to break apart.
That’s why on Sunday, September 23, I encourage you and your spouse to make it a priority to be in worship that morning and attend our marriage conference that afternoon from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Our worship speaker and conference leader will be Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, the author of “Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires, The Respect He Desperately Needs.”
This book was published in 2004, and has now sold more than 1 million copies. My wife, Beverly, and I read it shortly after it came out and benefited greatly from it.
In fact, because I think it is so very readable, biblical, and practical, I have for years typically made it my gift to every couple whose wedding I officiate.
So, I am delighted that we will welcome Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs to Ingleside on September 23. The Eggerichs have been married since 1973, live in Grand Rapids, MI, and have three adult children.

Semi-Annual Church Conference – August 29
On Wednesday night, August 29, at 7:45 p.m. (just after Midweek) we will gather for our Semi-Annual Church Conference in Room W-200 (just above the west entrance to the worship center).
The agenda includes: (1) the adoption of the annual budget; (2) the election of Overseers and Deacons; (3) reports on the health of our church; and (4) Q&A with the Lead Pastor.
