Light: An Ingleside Christmas Celebration

light-fb-post

At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus, who said:  “I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12, ESV).

Please plan to join us for a great, musical celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ next weekend.  The five service times are as follows:

• Friday, December 9, 7:00 p.m.

• Saturday, December 10, 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

• Sunday, December 11, 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Christmas cookies, hot wassail, and great fellowship will follow each of the afternoon and evening presentations in the Gathering Area.  On Sunday morning, food and fellowship will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Gathering Area.

No ticket is required, and the doors open 30 minutes prior to each presentation.  So, please invite a friend and experience a joy-filled, faith-inspiring, hope-producing celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ!

Is Your Heart Hurting This Christmas?

Though the holiday season can be filled with great joy and blessing, for those who have lost loved ones this time of year can be especially difficult and painful.

So, on Sunday afternoon, December 18, at 4:00 p.m. in our Chapel, we have planned a “Christmas Remembrance and Celebration” service.

This gathering is designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and hope to those who are grieving during the holidays.  I am confident that if you will make your way to this service, you will sense the nearness of God’s presence and his power to bring healing to your hurting heart.

Christmas Eve Services

The tradition of worshiping at Ingleside on Christmas Eve is growing!  This year, we are planning three services—two “family” services and one “candlelight communion” service.

3:30 – 4:15 p.m.          Family Service with live nativity

5:00 – 5:45 p.m.         Family Service with live nativity

7:30  – 8:30 p.m.        Candlelight Communion Service

All three services will have great music, an encouraging message, and worship by candle light.  Bring your family and friends and worship at Ingleside on Christmas Eve!
