July 3 – One Worship Service, 10:30 a.m.

This Sunday, July 3, we will have one worship service only at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center at Ingleside.

We will celebrate the freedom that we have in Christ and the freedoms that we enjoy as Americans.

In 1 Peter 2:17, the Bible says, “Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor” (ESV).

That’s just what we plan to do this Sunday as we celebrate our liberties, honor America, encourage one another, and worship God.

I hope you will join us!

July Sunday Schedule Changes

For all five Sundays of July, we plan to gather in one great worship service in our Worship Center at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday.

We believe this summer shake-up to our schedule will be beneficial in several ways:

  • Families will be encouraged to worship together – all in one service. Care will still be provided for birth-4K in our preschool ministry, but kids 5K and older will worship in “big church” with their parents for these five weeks.
  • Fellowship will be renewed across all ages and life stages. Over these five Sundays, we encourage you to build and renew relationships with Inglesiders who worship in a different worship service than you do on a typical Sunday. Take advantage of the fact that we will all be together!
  • Faithful servants will be refreshed, renewed, and readied for the fall kick-off on August 7. This change will allow a break for many volunteers who serve throughout the year – especially in our Next Gen ministries. No separate kids (5K-5th grade), middle school, or high school ministries will occur on these five Sunday mornings.  Adult Bible study classes that require no childcare may meet by arrangement with our Discipleship Office (see more information here).

These modifications to our Sunday schedule in July also take into consideration: (1) the lingering effects of the pandemic on our on-campus participation levels; (2) a season of unusually high staff turnover; and (3) the effects of mission trips, camps, and vacation travel that typically result in lower worship attendance during July.

On Sunday, August 7, we plan to be back to our full schedule of four worship services, all adult Bible study classes, and all Next Gen ministries. I anticipate that it will be a fabulous fall!

I am very grateful for your partnership in the gospel, and I am confident that the best is yet to come!
