On Sunday night, October 1, at 6:30 p.m. we will be privileged to host Keith and Kristin Getty in concert, live at Ingleside.
Don’t know the Gettys? Well, I’ll bet you know at least one of their songs. Keith is co-writer of “In Christ Alone.”
And though it was composed only in 2001, “In Christ Alone” is now fast-becoming a classic. It’s sung regularly in churches all across the stylistic spectrum and is consistently in the Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) top 10 songs for worship.
In fact, with collaborators like Stuart Townsend, the Gettys have written over 60 of the most popular 2,000 hymns sung each week in the United States and United Kingdom.
Consistent with our biblical values and philosophy at Ingleside, the Gettys champion songs that clearly express our faith, encourage congregational singing, and inspire us to engage in the mission of sharing the gospel with all nations.
An added bonus unique to our concert is that our Ingleside choir will be backing up the Gettys. What a night of praise and worship it will be!

Budget Approved, Leaders Elected
I’m pleased to report that at our Semi-Annual Church Conference on Wednesday night, August 30, our 2018 Ministry Budget was approved and leaders were elected.
Overseers who will serve a three-year term beginning on October 1 are: Jimmy Hinson, Robby Jones, Rob McCormack, and Eric Wilson. Larry Bush was elected as a Deacon.
Each of these leaders will be ordained and installed as a part of our worship service at “Big Wednesday” on September 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
I’m grateful for a healthy church that has long been characterized by generous giving, financial integrity, and strong leadership partnerships.
And, I’m convinced that the best is yet to come!
Your Pastor and Friend,
