Ingleside Pandemic Protocols

In today’s blog, I want to: (1) remind you of our pandemic protocols; (2) invite you to watch “Christmas with Ingleside,” (3) make sure you know about the Christmas Eve livestreams; and (4) outline our holiday worship schedule through December and into the New Year.

Ingleside Pandemic Protocols

As you may know, we have been back meeting for in-person, on-campus worship since Sunday, June 14.

On a typical Sunday now, about 900 people gather in four services on campus and about 800 watch on the livestream.

By the Lord’s grace, thus far we have not had an Ingleside-related outbreak of COVID-19.

So, as the uptick in coronavirus cases occurs in our region, let’s renew our commitment to the protocols that have enabled us to safely gather.

  • First, if you have symptoms, have been exposed, or are awaiting test results, please stay home and worship by livestream. Others will appreciate your caution.
  • Second, we always practice social distancing. Attendance at every service is limited to 25% of capacity, and reservations are required.  Check-in is touchless, and we sit every other row.
  • Third, face coverings are strongly encouraged. Unless you are leading on the platform, we strongly encourage face coverings throughout the service – especially during the singing.

As we practice these protocols, we are honoring our governing authorities, we are loving our neighbors, and we are taking the precautions that will enable as many of us as possible to continue to meet in-person week by week.

I’m really grateful for your partnership in the gospel during these unusual days, and I look forward to seeing you in worship on Sunday – either in-person or on the livestream!

Christmas with Ingleside – December 19

Again this Saturday night, December 19, at 7:00 p.m. we will broadcast Christmas with Ingleside – a one-hour, Christmas music special on 41NBC (WMGT).

This television special includes great numbers from recent Ingleside Christmas programs, as well as a brief gospel presentation with an opportunity to respond.

So, don’t miss it.  Invite friends and family to join you, and plan to be part of Christmas with Ingleside on December 19.

Christmas Eve Possibilities

At this writing, all the reservations for our five Christmas Eve services have been taken.

So, if you do not have a reservation, we suggest three possibilities.

  • First, keep checking back to see if reservations become available. As we get nearer the date, sometimes plans change and reservations will be released.
  • Second, consider “walking up” to one of the services. Reservations unclaimed at 5 minutes before the service start time will be made available to walk-ups.
  • Third, watch the livestream. Both the 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. services will be livestreamed on our website, Facebook, and YouTube.

I hope to see you in worship with our Ingleside family of faith on Christmas Eve – either in person or on the livestream!
