Holy Week at Ingleside
For much of Christian history, believers have recognized the significance of the days leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. The week just prior to Resurrection Sunday has often been marked with special services and has been called Holy Week. I hope that you will join us at Ingleside for the following times of remembrance, worship, and celebration:
Lord’s Supper on Palm Sunday morning – Sunday, March 20
In each of our four Sunday morning worship services, we will invite everyone who has repented, believed, and been baptized to receive the bread and the cup. Our Lord Jesus said, “Do this in remembrance of me.”
Chapel Choir Concert – Sunday, March 20, 6:30 p.m.
Our Chapel Choir will present “Wondrous Love” – a concert of traditional music on Palm Sunday evening (March 20) in our Chapel at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are not required, so come early to get a great seat. You will be encouraged and blessed by an evening of musical worship that focuses on the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord.
Easter Family Fun Day – Saturday, March 26, 10:00 a.m.
Designed especially for families with preschool and elementary age children, we invite you to bring a picnic lunch or purchase food onsite and enjoy lunch around the pond. There will be great fellowship and activities for kids of all ages!
Easter Worship – Saturday and Sunday, March 26 & 27
Celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, our risen Savior and great Redeemer in one of four services on Easter Weekend. The schedule this year will be:
- Saturday, March 26, 6:00 p.m. – Worship Center
- Sunday, March 27, 8:30 a.m. – Chapel
- Sunday, March 27, 9:40 a.m. – Worship Center
- Sunday, March 27, 11:00 a.m. – Worship Center
- Sunday, March 27, 11:00 a.m. – Multi-Purpose Gym
We’ll serve refreshments in the Gathering Area following the Saturday evening service and also throughout the morning on Sunday. So, plan to enjoy some food and fellowship as we celebrate life in Christ together at Ingleside!
I’m really looking forward to seeing you for the worship, fellowship, and celebration of this Holy Week. Invite a friend to join you and pray for the Father’s anointing and favor.
