Happy New Year!

On this New Year’s Eve, I’m praying that our Heavenly Father would pour out his abundant favor and blessing on you, your family, and our church family in 2021!

Psalm 84:11 says: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly” (ESV).

So, as we walk in joyful obedience to the Lord, I am asking him to withhold no good thing from us.  I am asking him to help us flourish and prosper in every way – for our good and his glory!

Even as we continue to take appropriate precautions until the pandemic has passed and as the vaccines are rolled out around the world, I am hopeful for a better 2021 and a return to more normal patterns of life and ministry in the months to come.

Join me in praying that it may be so!  Happy New Year!

Be Salt and Light – Vote on January 5

If you have not voted already by mail or in early voting, I hope you will vote in the U.S. Senate runoff election on Tuesday, January 5.

If you value every human life (from the moment of conception to natural death), if you value Jesus’ teaching on marriage (one man and one woman in loving covenant commitment), and if you value religious liberty (our first freedom protected in the Bill of Rights), then I hope you will vote your biblical values on January 5.

Jesus said that we should be salt and light (cf. Matthew 5:13-16).  One of the ways we can do that is by voting our values.

So, don’t sit it out.  Go vote.  Let your voice be heard!
