Doubts and Questions?

easter

Maybe somewhere along the way you learned that your honest doubts and questions could never be voiced – especially about matters of faith and especially at church.

Well, if it ever was true, it’s no longer the case at Ingleside.

Beginning this Sunday, March 26, immediately after the close of our 11:00 a.m. services, I will host a 30-minute question & answer session in our Worship Center.

If you join us, you will have an opportunity to ask me your questions about the sermon you just heard, about our church, or about Christianity in general.

I certainly would not claim to have easy answers to every question that might be posed.  But, I have thought, prayed, and studied the Bible carefully for many years.

And, I’ve benefited from the wisdom of those who have gone before us who have wrestled with many of the same questions we still ask today.  Few of our questions or doubts are actually new.

So, I hope you will bring your questions and doubts to church with you this Sunday.

And, even if you would consider yourself a skeptic, be assured that you will be welcomed warmly and treated with respect and kindness.

The message this Sunday, March 26, is entitled, “Is this it?  Is this all there is?”  I hope you will join us!

Easter at Ingleside

In just a few weeks, we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, our risen Savior and great Redeemer.

Our five-service schedule on Easter weekend, April 15-16, will be as follows:

  • Saturday, 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center
  • Sunday, 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel
  • Sunday, 9:40 a.m. in the Worship Center
  • Sunday, 11:00 a.m. in the Worship Center
  • Sunday, 11:00 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Gym

We’ll serve refreshments in the Gathering Area following the Saturday evening service and also throughout the morning on Sunday.

So, invite your family and friends to worship with you, and plan to enjoy some food and fellowship as we celebrate Easter together at Ingleside!
