Begin the New Year in Worship

Large group of unrecognizable young adults enjoying an open air concert. Focus on people in foreground clapping in sync. Blurry stage in background.

What better way to begin the New Year than to gather in worship with your church family?

This Sunday, January 1, 2017, we plan to have one service only at 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center at Ingleside.

The warm invitation of Psalm 95 is in my heart and mind as I write this morning:

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
    let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
    let us make a joyful noise to him with sons of praise!

For the Lord is a great God,
    and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the depths of the earth;
    the heights of the mountains are his also.
The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hand formed the dry land.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
    let us knell before the Lord, our Maker!
For he is our God,
    and we are the people of his pasture,
    and the sheep of his hand.

    (Psalm 95:1-7a, ESV)

So, if you are in town this weekend, then I hope you will be in worship at Ingleside.  What a great way to begin the New Year.  I look forward to seeing you there!
