A Worthy Investment

A Worthy Investment?

If you could bring together 400+ elementary-age children in a safe, fun environment every morning for a week to learn the gospel of Jesus Christ, would you consider it a worthy investment?

If you could help those same kids experience joy-filled, truth-based, Spirit-led, interactive worship every morning for a week, would you consider it a worthy investment?

If you could arrange for those same boys and girls to experience creative arts and crafts that teach them about God’s plan to take the gospel to every person on the planet, would you consider it a worthy investment?

If you could ensure that those same kids were taught and led by almost 200 men and women who are each personally committed to Christ and who exude the love of Christ, would you consider it a worthy investment?

Well, it’s just this sort of investment that we will be making this coming Monday through Friday, June 9-13, during our Xtreme Week (Vacation Bible School) at Ingleside.  So, I hope you will . . .

Invite a friend – this week is a great way to introduce someone to the ministries of our church.  More information is on our website:

Pray earnestly – great preparation has already been done, but we need for the Lord’s blessing and anointing to be on our efforts.  Join me in asking the Lord’s favor on the entire week, and ask him to touch the hearts of older children prompting them to repent and believe the gospel.

Give generously – when you give to our general fund at Ingleside, you are making a worthy investment in “next generation” ministries like this one.

I know that our Heavenly Father is pleased with the investment we make in telling “the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord and his might, and the wonders he has done” (Psalm 78:4, ESV).

Membership Class

Our next monthly membership class will be this Sunday afternoon, June 8, at 4:00 p.m.  If you are new to Ingleside, this class is a great way to find out quickly about the vision and values of our church.  Completion of this class is also a requirement for membership.

Thinking about attending?  No reservation is required.  Dress is casual.  A snack supper and childcare is provided.  Come in the east entrance to the Worship Center and a greeter will provide directions.

It’s a great joy and privilege to be your pastor and friend.
