Have you thought much about how significant growth and transformation occur? I have.
Words often attributed to Samuel Smiles (1812-1904) state the proven process succinctly:
Sow a thought, and you reap an act;

After a summer shake up to our worship schedule in July and the completion of an overhaul of the HVAC system in our chapel, we will be back to our full worship schedule this Sunday, August 21.
As a reminder, we will worship in five services as follows:
8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship in the Chapel
9:40 a.m. Blended Worship in the Worship Center
11:00 a.m. Blended Worship in the Worship Center

Now that summer rhythms are giving way to school schedules, make sure that Sunday worship is in your weekly routine.
Scripture is clear: God is honored, and we benefit when we gather with other believers to worship (cf. Hebrews 10:24-25).
This Sunday, August 14, we will have three worship services: 9:40 blended, 11:00 blended, and 11:00 contemporary. Then, on Sunday, August 21, our traditional service in the chapel at 8:30 will be added back to the schedule.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, the summer season will officially end on Thursday, September 22. However, if your yearly schedule is driven at all by the educational calendar, you know the book is closing on the summer for many.
This change of rhythm also leads to new opportunities to grow in Christ. I hope you will take note of the kickoffs listed below.
