In today’s blog, I want to: (1) wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving; (2) invite you to “Christmas with Ingleside; and (3) celebrate good news regarding the SOGI ordinance.

In today’s blog, I want to make sure you know about: (1) our Thanksgiving Celebration service; (2) our “Christmas with Ingleside” television outreach; and (3) next steps related to the SOGI ordinance.

The Scripture says that there is a time to be silent and a time to speak (Ecclesiastes 3:7).
Now is the time to let your voice be heard.
The Macon-Bibb County Commission is scheduled to vote on a sexual orientation and gender identity ordinance on Tuesday, November 17 that will impact every business and place of public accommodation in our county. You may read the ordinance here.

Scripture makes clear that it honors God and is good for us when we offer thanksgiving to the Lord.
Do you recall the words of Psalm 100? It says: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” (Psalm 100:4, ESV).
