As we walk with Christ, we should anticipate that it will take effort to stay on the right path.
After all, we live in a fallen world where evil and temptation abound. Then there are the appetites and desires of our old, sinful nature. Add to that the pressure to conform to the spirit of the age, and the danger of drifting off course is significant.

When Merriam-Webster defines the word “bridge,” two primary meanings are offered:
a structure carrying a pathway or roadway over a depression or obstacle (such as a river), for example, a bridgeconnecting the island to the mainland
a time, place, or means of connection or transition, for example, building a bridgebetween the two cultures, or the bridge from war to peace

Whenever newcomers check out a church, virtually all are asking some form of the same question: “Is there a place for me?”
And for years our short answer at Ingleside has been, “Yes!”
Our answer reflects the spirit of Romans 15:7, which says: “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God” (ESV).
Of course, the specific questions newcomers may ask are often more detailed, nuanced, and personalized.
