For many families at Ingleside, the rhythms of life will change as the school year comes to a close. The demands of classes, tests, and extracurricular activities give way to a welcome change of pace. At Ingleside, the summer promises to be spiritually significant. What does it take to lead well? Psalm 78:72 says of King David’s leadership that he “shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them” (NIV84).
Did you notice the two qualities this verse highlights? They are integrity and skill. Or, put another way: character and competence.

In the summer of 1979 I had the privilege of participating in an archaeological dig in Israel at Tel Batash, the biblical city of Timnah (cf. Judges 14). The archaeological dig itself was very fascinating and also very hard work.
But the additional touring our group was able to do throughout the land of Israel was transformative. It forever changed the way I read and understood the Bible.

The month of May has become a time when we connect with, serve, and share the gospel with our community in a significant way. As the school year comes to a conclusion, we host a number of end-of-year school events at Ingleside. This year, these events include:
