How many members does Ingleside have now? Is our membership growing? Is the notion of “membership” biblical? Do you have to be baptized to be a member? Why don’t you receive members with an altar call? What is expected of members? How do you become a member?

How long has it been since you have read chapter 6 of the Old Testament book of Deuteronomy? Tucked away in this portion of God’s Word is a principle and a warning that have been echoing through my heart this week.

In every generation, some churches lose focus and drift from their primary mission. So, it’s wise for us to be regularly reminded of what our God-given mission really is.
The mission is stated clearly by our Lord in Matthew 28:19-20 where Jesus says to his followers:
